Overview

This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Avgeek Pro subscriptions are available through Stripe, the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store. Refund rules and timelines can vary by payment channel.

1. Subscription Plans

  • Pro Monthly — recurring monthly subscription.
  • Pro Yearly — recurring yearly subscription.
  • Pro Lifetime — one-time purchase with permanent access.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Eligible situations

  • Critical bugs that prevent normal use of paid features.
  • Persistent crashes or failures to launch.
  • Paid features not working as described.
  • Duplicate charges for the same purchase.
  • Unauthorized charges.
  • Successful payment without receiving Pro access.

2.2 Situations generally not eligible

  • Change of mind after using Pro features.
  • The App functioning as described but not matching personal expectations.
  • Failure to use the subscription during the billing period.
  • Account termination for violating the Terms of Service.
  • Problems caused by user error or unrelated third-party services.

2.3 Time windows

  • General purchases: within 30 days of purchase.
  • Subscriptions: within 7 days of the billing cycle start.
  • Lifetime purchases: within 30 days of purchase.

3. How to Request a Refund

3.1 Stripe purchases

Email support@avgeek.io with your account email address, purchase date, amount, refund reason, and any screenshots or documentation that help explain the issue.

We aim to review requests within 3-5 business days.

3.2 Apple App Store purchases

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Find the purchase and select the refund/report option.
  4. Provide a reason for the request.

Apple reviews these requests at its discretion, and processing typically takes 7-14 business days.

3.3 Google Play Store purchases

  1. Open Google Play Store.
  2. Go to Account and then Order History.
  3. Find the purchase and select Request a refund.

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Processing times

  • Stripe refunds: 5-7 business days after approval.
  • Apple App Store refunds: typically 7-14 business days from request.
  • Google Play Store refunds: typically 3 to 5 business days after approval.

Refunds are sent back to the original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

4.2 Account status after refund

  • Pro access is revoked once the refund is processed.
  • Your account returns to the Free tier.
  • Flight data and account history are retained unless you separately request deletion.
  • You may re-subscribe later if eligible.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks submitted without first contacting support may lead to account suspension while the matter is reviewed.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected by revising the Last Updated date on this page.
